Comet elenin. Bullcrap?

Comet Elenin is a perfectly ordinary comet which will pass fairly close to Earth in October, but not anywhere near close enough to collide with Earth. It is "confirmed by NASA" in the sense that NASA has it on their web site, along with hundreds of other comets and tens of thousand of asteroids. That's because NASA has a neat little web application which plots the orbits of solar system objects.
