What's with the hate on long nails?

I have natural long nails and can't stand short ones. On guys they are ok but on girls it make you look manly and gross. No matter what if you nails are short I think they bite them which is nasty. I take a lot of time taking care of my nails and love them long, and other people do too (so I can scratch their backs). They are also useful weapons. You piss me off and I wil scratch or dig my nails into you.

Okay, so me and my ex girlfriend were going out for a year before we decided to break up. The reason was because we fought and argued way to much than what was necessary. Well after we remained sort of I don't know, friends with benefits? More than that, We still met on a daily basis, kissed, told each other we loved each other, things you would do in a relationship. The only thing was she would talk to so many guys, and go to the movies with other guys. She's told me time and time again that she doesn't do anything, like I think she is. I told her the day I find out she's doing something with another guy I want nothing to do with her. The thing is though we're not together so she flirts with so many guys and things like that, but in the end it's basically like we're together. She comes with me and my family to places and that sort of things. Well yesterday she came over and signed into Facebook with my iPod and she fell asleep and remained signed in. So I decided to be nosy and look at her messages, I came upon a message that was her telling her cousin she made out with some guy and blah blah and talking about other guys. And another message talking to some guy saying she'd send him a picture of her stomach. I woke her up took her home, confronted her about it saying like why are you being so easy telling this guy you'd send him a picture and blah blah, she replied by saying that's not being easy. I then said bye and left home, then when I got home is when I saw the message about her making out with the guy and all those other things so I texted her told her what I saw and told her I want nothing to do with her, and for her not to talk to me and I said bye. She replied by saying she didnt do it and all this other bullcrap sent me like 7 messages saying like please!!, reply!!, Babe!! stuff like that and her last message said I'll always love you and i'll always be here for you call me whenever you want to talk..byee.. and I never replied. Is this the right reaction? Should I not be mad since we're not together? Although I feel as if we are. I still love her very much, and I don't know what to do. This hurt me very much. Sorry for it being so long, What should I do????? please help. Thanks..

The night my grandpa died, I had this dream?

So my grandpa died like 4 years ago and the night that he died, I had this dream. I dreamt that me and him were sitting in his bedroom and we were just talking only when I woke up, I couldn't remember what either of us had said. Just want to clarify, this was after he died. This has always kind of bothered me though because it's so much unlike any other dream I've ever had. I've never ever had a dream that normal. My dreams are always screwed up. Hell, two nights ago I dreamt I was Lord Voldemort and once I had a dream that everyone in Star Wars was made of rice and Obi-Wan kept saying "May the rice be with you". So I saw a question on here about someones ELEVEN year old daughter gaining about 30 pounds and her grandmother offered her 3.00 a POUND that she loses. Thats BULLCRAP. Do you have any idea what that does to your kid, when her own FAMILY is telling her shes getting fat? My mom used to tell me I was "gainging weight" when I was in around 6th grade and do you know how it affected me? I STOPPED eating and started making myself throw up and exercise constantly. You think its just an innocent way of helping her, but really you're demolishing her self esteem and making her think theres something wrong with her. If you want her to be healthier, get her involved in a health club and take away all the junk shes been eating. Do it as a family! Dont just single her out as the broken one. Why does God have to burn us in hell for eternity when human life is so short?

I am posing this question after hearing the Christian argument that God did not create evil, and that evil is just the "absence of God." And that humans are given "free will" otherwise we'd all be like robots created to serve God without a choice. Doesn't sound like a choice to me. Sounds like an ultimatum. God basically says "serve me or else I will banish you to fire and brimstone for ETERNITY!" In most cases humans live less than 100 years. Even if we were given a life sentence for every tiny sin we committed in our lifetime-that still would not constitute a googleplex to the googleplex power of "years" and beyond to infinity in Hell. If god is fair and just how could he do this to people who didn't agree to these terms before they were born? Why not just make us cease to exist and go about his business? Why beat a dead horse zillions of years later? Please help me understand this mess as I just can't understand how God can be "all love" when he is the one that created hell. Even if you argue he didn't create evil- he still created hell which he didn't have to do. sounds like God is breaking some of the 7 deadly sins himself: especially WRATH and PRIDE.

I drove my Mazda 3 for 90 miles on low oil level (according to dipstick reading) without the engine ceasing?

Does that mean there was still enough oil to keep engine running without being damaged? I noticed i wasn't getting as good of gas mileage as i used to. My low oil light did not turn on. Also, my temperature gauge was in between cold and hot the whole time.

Evolution is the theory that everything came to"be" by chance, and that other than that, there is no reason for us to even be here. This theory provides no hope to a Christian, who believes in God and that Christ was born to save them, in fact, it cancels it out completely, and gives us no purpose. I don't like that he said you were going to hell, that's judging. But everyone will have their own opinions, no matter what. There may be nothing that you can do. depends on how low your dipstick was reading. if it was below the low line / dot then you probably scratched the inside of the engine and may have damaged the bearings causing more friction and more fuel usage.

Scared symptoms there but tests are negative?

My period is over two months late now and I am having the basic pregnancy symptoms: weight gain, increased discharge, constipation, exhaustion, and muscle pains. However I have taken 6 tests (2 at 1 month late, 1 a week later, and the others at different times after the 2nd month late) and they are all negative. Wouldn't that mean that I'm not pregnant? I am on the pill and use condoms. The pill I'm on is loestrin fe 24, my boyfriends boss told me that the same pill caused her period to cease for over a year. My cycle became very irregular and then stopped along with the symptoms coming. Should I still worry about pregnancy?

Im so depressed in this relationship, what should i do?

Ok here is my problem... I got my girlfriend pregnant when she was 16, and I was 17. I then rushed to get my high school diploma, and she got her ged. after we both got our diplomas we got married, and shortly after had our baby girl. One week after my daughter was born I left for basic training, ait, and airborne school for the army national guard. I have been home for 6 months now. Here is were the problems begin. I have been working Overnights at walmart busting my balls for the last 3 months. I work Overnights so my wife can go to college while I stay home and watch my daughter. Anyway money is so tight. We don't even have enough to pay for health insurance. We live in an apartment and every month is a constant struggle just to pay bills. Honestly I love my wife so much, but I am constantly doubting why we got married. I don't want to live like this anymore, but I don't want to completely screw my wife over by leaving because then the bills would fall on her, and I love her too much to do that to her. Another problem is her parental live so far away if she were to move with them, she would no longer be able to go to school because they literally live in the middle of nowhere. I on the other hand would just move in my parents basement about 45 minutes away, and transfer walmart. I want to be able to go to school and get my education, but I'm so tied down to my wife and child. I'm never happy with her, and things just aren't the way they used to be. I'm just so confused as to what's wrong and what's right. I'm confused as to what I should do. Please any input would really help.

Well the girl I like is shy but a very good person. I knew her from this year and at some points it seems like she is really intersted but to tell you the truth im not sure. I go to Aurora University, and it seems like most of the girls there talk a lot of trash about guys. They have barely come on earth and their existence is ceased without them even knowing it and without even being asked. 5 lovely and sweet pit bulls were put to sleep in my shelter because they could not get adopted in 40 days. I felt very bad and disgusted for such an innocent life to have been taken away due to lack of patience.

my dad bought me my first car 1 month ago..and i was happy but really its been more stressful than anything else...the cars registration is under my name so you would think i own it but really the title is under my dads name so he can take it away...he told me he wont give me a hard time about the car that all he wants is for me to go to school and work and that having it will make my life easier..well, thats bullcrap because hes already going through my purse making copies of the keys and yesterday i found my bumper sticker was missing...he took itt out because he says he didnt like what it said which is this "YES, IM A BiiIATCH JUST NOT YOUR BiiIATCH" i was like ...wow what a jerk he told me he wont give me a hard time...hes overreacting over a sticker? wow i can imagine how its going to be like if one day i go to a club HE WILL BLOW UP it just hurts because he LIED TO ME and told me not to worry that its my car the only condition was that i dont stop working ...i know i have to give the car back and buy my own car its just sooo hard because having a car is so much better and now i have to take the bus for like 4 months so i can save money to buy my own car , and this car i have now is causing me stress and my freedomwill. The Universe, in its current state will eventually cease to exist we know that. Car is shaking when accelerating?

This just started happening and I don't know why. When I accelerate the entire car vibrates and it ceases when I'm not accelerating. At constant speeds on smooth road it doesn't vibrate, but going up hills it does, so this tells me it is only when some torque is being applied. Engine is running great and I have brand new tires on that were balanced. My car is a 96 Dodge Intrepid 3.3L, automatic transmission.

I had my son feb 2010 and got the depo shot at 6 weeks after having him. I got it 2 more times after. I was due for my last shot december 2010 but DID NOT get it. I have only had 2 kind of periods, idk if that's even what id call them, since I stopped the shot. I read on a website like webmd or one similar that you can still ovelate and not have a regular period every month. How can I tell when I ovulate with things like cm and position of cervix? I started taking vitex a couple weeks ago to try to help regulate or induce periods but no results yet, but I read it can take 2-3 months for vitex to have an effect. My husband and I are really wanting a second baby but it seems that me getting the depo shot after having my son really screwed me up! A child support question?

hi, i live in west virginia. my girlfriend and i have a 1 year old son together. through the last year we have been locked in mortgage limbo on our house, therefore our addresses were listed as different. we were summoned to a child support hearing in which we were told that child support would only be taken out for 2 or 3 payments(i cant recall which it was) as backpay.and when we got our addresses straightened out to come back and let them know, at which time they would cease taking payments out of my paychecks. that was in oct 2010. about this time we moved into our new house but were still stuck in mortgage limbo, meaning i couldnt change my employment status or risk messing up the loan. here is where the fun really begins. No payments were taken out of my paychecks until dec 10, 2010. the first payment of $148 was taken out dec 10, another of the same amount was taken out on dec. 24, 2010(i get paid every 2 weeks). neither payment was sent to the child support agency until dec. 28, 2010. My girlfriend and i thought, "hey its a one time thing, no big deal, at least thats all that they will take and now its done"...we were wrong. the next paycheck had the same amount taken out and once again was not sent to the child support agency, i then started recieving letters in the mail from the child support agency stating that i was delinquent on my payments. my girlfriend and i then went to the agency this same thing occured on every paycheck for the next 2 months. payments taken out of my checks by my employer, yet not sent to the agency. after repeatedly trying to phone the agency, we finally went down to the office. while there, we were informed that it wasnt just my checks, but my employer was not sending any other employee's child support payments in either. he was apparently up to thousands of dollars behind. they had already notified him by letter. also, while at this meeting they informed us that if we wanted to end our child support case when we got the money from my employer that we could. they told us they were leaving the case open until he sent the money in, that way their lawyers could handle it and we wouldnt have to seek outside consultation. that was in february 2011. he has never gotten it caught all the way up, so we have never been able to get the case closed. now he is over $700 behind again. i ask the managers where i work about it and they tell me i have to talk to the accountants, when the child support office calls the accountant they tell them that the owner does the child support, then when they call him he becomes aggresive and profane and hangs up. these payments were supposed to stop being taken out in february and its still happening. it wouldnt be as bad if the money were being sent in, because then my girlfriend could get it and we could pay our bills with it. but that's not happening and we are falling behind on our bills and everything else and all the child support tells us is they turned it over to their attorneys and if we havent got the money in 3 weeks to come and talk to them again. i don't understand what they expect us to do. we can't tell the utility companies to wait a couple weeks can we? the main problem,as i already stated, is that these payments arent even supposed to be being taken out of my checks. what can i do about this? the child support bureau is clearly not that concerned about it and we are running out of options on our money. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What can I do so my stomach doesn't growl?

I'm anorexic (please don't hate, I'm asking a question. Answer it or screw off), and I can't make my stomach stop growling! Like I'll eat for a day, then the next day it growls forever. How am I supposed to make people believe that I ate when my stomach says otherwise? I can't do the anti-acid thing. I can't really afford that right now. My job sucks...

I get a text from him 5 seconds later "what's wrong bestfriend?" I usually say "nothing it's fine" and he's like "No. Tell me. I'm not leaving you." I mean, that's great, he's a good friend, but it's almost obsessive. He gets my tweets sent to his phone, he gets my facebook statuses sent to his phone.. I'll post something like "mallll (:" before I go to the mall and then he'll be texting me "So you're at the mall? I should come see you" when I didn't even tell him I'm at the mall. And if I don't text him back for like 30 minutes, he'll send me another text "It makes me sad when you don't text me back :( What else could you possibly be doing?" And I even tried completely distancing myself from him, one-word texts, sometimes not even talking to him at all because it's freaking annoying, and HE'S STILL HERE AND MORE ANNOYING THAN EVER. He's always on some sort of bullcrap like "you're changing. this isn't you." Like he knows me better than I know myself? Wtf is up with this kid? Why does he act like this and what should I do? I already blocked him on twitter.

Molestaion how to report it.?

Amy has to be willing to report it. If she is, she needs some support from any adults who can be trusted-hopefully her parents or some other relative, a pastor/minister if she has one and you. Then, all go with her down to the police station to report it preferably to sexual crimes specialist. Not allowed to do that to any girl/women what he did. Ok, so I am 18 yrs old. About a yr ago i started to have oral sex and a lot of "dry sex" (not penetrating) and then about 3 months ago I completely lost my virginity. Well, the truth is the guy I lost it to was more of a friend than he was a boyfriend, but I've known him for a long time and I was basically just really curious and I want to know what to do when someone serious comes along. Is it really worth arguing with True Believers?

If you can provide someone with some healthy skepticism, it is worthwhile. I don't think it is that useful arguing with alarmists. Ok my eating schedule got screwed up. Last week I was depressed and I only ate like one little thing everyday for that week. Now this week after anything I eat I get very bloated and need to burp after I eat. And I cant eat past midnight anymore or I cant sleep, I used to be able to do this and sleep fine. I dont know if this is normal or not but its making me feel horrible. I just wanna know how to get back on schedule?

Need Help With A Teeth Issue...?

Last year, I had a serious eating disorder with which I would self-induce vomiting. I've since been treated and warned of the damage it causes and have ceased it. However, my teeth have shrunken significantly because of it. Is there any way I can rebuild my teeth? So a couple nights ago my friends got pulled over. I'll start from the begining all three girls are 17, they were at this kids house about 10 miles away from Taylors and were all drinking. Im not going into specifics but they decided to drive home at 1:30, got pulled over because they were riding the center line. The car belongs to my friends Lauren but Taylor decided to drive because lauren claimed she had to much to drink. Well Taylor doesnt have her license.. So taylor got a DUI because she blew a .082, handcuffed and taken to juvie. Lauren blew .029 and Emily blew .031. Lauren and Emily were just sent home and told that they had nothing to be charged for on the spot. My prediction is theyll get their summons in the mail for an underage drinking charge. Lauren said if she gets charged her dad wants to sew becuase she was initially told she didnt have a charge. I think thats completely bullcrap and shes just asking to get punished harder, but I wonder why the cop didnt explain what probably will happen. My husband has been private messaging a women on Facebook. I have read a few of the messages. Nothing they say would lead me to believe he is having an affair. Other than the fact she talks about how she hates her boyfriend and wants to leave him. He deletes the messages before I can read all of them. How to connect b52 ls 100 to its matching cabinet?

people who know guitar half stacks, I have a b52 ls100 head and ls400 cabinet. On the back of the cabinet, there is a mono/stereo switch and I dont know how to connect the head to the cabnet. i have one speaker cable and i want to know if i can switch the switch to stereo with only one cable(there are two cable holes in the cab) and i dont want to screw up the amp. Also there is a statement saying do not switch to mono with stereo terminals in use. could you explain that. Im guessing i need two cables to use the stereo but i may be wrong. Why does God have to burn us in hell for eternity when human life is so short?

I am posing this question after hearing the Christian argument that God did not create evil, and that evil is just the "absence of God." And that humans are given "free will" otherwise we'd all be like robots created to serve God without a choice. Doesn't sound like a choice to me. Sounds like an ultimatum. God basically says "serve me or else I will banish you to fire and brimstone for ETERNITY!" In most cases humans live less than 100 years. Even if we were given a life sentence for every tiny sin we committed in our lifetime-that still would not constitute a googleplex to the googleplex power of "years" and beyond to infinity in Hell. If god is fair and just how could he do this to people who didn't agree to these terms before they were born? Why not just make us cease to exist and go about his business? Why beat a dead horse zillions of years later? Please help me understand this mess as I just can't understand how God can be "all love" when he is the one that created hell. Even if you argue he didn't create evil- he still created hell which he didn't have to do. sounds like God is breaking some of the 7 deadly sins himself: especially WRATH and PRIDE.

How many times can a individual file exempt?

I filed exempt 7 times already i get a bonus every 3 months and i don't want to get taxed on them. I need to file 2 more times this year, Can i get in trouble for this year? last year i didn't pay anything, i got a small refund cause i had a dependent but did not earn the full credit because i made too much for me and the dependent so i got half of the child credit. I do understand i'm going to pay and i don't mind i just don't want to get in trouble. Every year i get screwed and i never get nothing with the exception of last year but still did not get the full amount back. Any suggestions on how to correct this or should I no longer file exempt? How to get over narcissist ex boyfriend ?

Good for you for leaving him. I am still with my narcissistic boyfriend and he is literally driving me crazy. I really can't stand him and I call him out constantly on his narcissistic behavior but it doesn't change anything because they are incapable of change. though he does sometimes admit he is a narcissist. The only reason I am still with him is because we have a 3 year old son and I literally have nowhere else to go. My own family won't even take me in because they HATE him and they know if I'm there he will come around to see his son. He has stolen from my family, good friends, and even a place I used to work. We have been together over 6 years and I discovered his problem was narcissism about a year and a half ago. I educate myself constantly on his disorder and I plan on doing everything in my power to make sure our son doesn't become one of these monsters. Through research I have learned how to keep him somewhat under control but I feel like it is destroying me emotionally. If we didn't have a child I would not be with him I wish I had a way to get out like you did. I really envy you. Be strong and be happy you are rid of your emotional vampire. Once you meet a REAL man you will forget all about him. I say get out there and find a man that will treat you the way you deserve to be treated!!!!
