Sex with best friend? should i regret it?

okay first off im 16 and i dont want all that bullcrap saying oh ur soo young u shouldnt do that i dont want to hear it.thanks....okay sooo i have been best friend with this dude for 2 years and i fell in love with him and idk if he feels the same but i think he does but we are both too shy or watever to say we love each other....he is the same age as me but i stayed over like i normally do sometimes but i havnt seen if for like a year and we both changed alot i guess puperty or something aha but he told me he wanted to do it and i kinda agreed but no at the same time my decision was unclear but when i stayed over we did it and i dont feel regret at all cuz i trust him and i known him for 2 years but my friends think i made a mistake but they dont understand the things me and him have been thru soo yea but recently (2 weeks later) i kinda am wondering wat my feelings are should i regret it or wat and i do like him soo yea
