Im kinda confused on how to approach my friends and family?

welll my friend yesterday joked around about lesbian and gay people and i was like thats not funny ...then she did it again and i was like dude once again its not funny so shutup because im bi and she doesnt know that well i was gonna tell her but then my mom was like dont joke around about that since in this house it would never happen so basically im screwed cuz me and this girl rly like eachother but now i cnt tell anyone in my house and soo ya i feel like they might hate me or something???
