Should I ask my mom to buy me this?

So a few years back, my dad used to own a business (it had been a family owned business for over 100 years). When the economy took a dive, he had to sell it. He doesn't have a college degree, so he had to take on new jobs(and he doesn't make a ton of money, obviously). My mom is a teacher, but the stupid Michigan Governer thinks that teachers make too much money for what they do, (which I think is bullcrap, because my mom works her *** off and only maybe gets maybe $50,000 a year, give or take some because My parents don't discuss this with me, for a family of 5), so he is cutting her pay check before the next school year. I need a new bra and a few pairs of underwear, but I'm afraid to ask my mom because I think it might be too much money; our family budget is so tight. Should I ask her? What should I do?
